Our Priorities

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and drugs around the Longbridge retail and South & City College area. Concerns highlighted to local officers and from call data received to WMP with incidents to this locality.

What’s Been Happening?

We held our PCSO Meets the Community street meeting outside the Arden Road Shops. We discussed issues around Anti-Social Behaviour and listened to feedback on where you would like to see us out on patrol. 

We conducted a joint visit with Birmingham City Council to give advice around acceptable behaviour within the housing location and reminded residents of the rules and expectations they are required to meet. This was to reduce the calls around anti-social behaviour being received to the police and to the council. All residents were receptive and engaged with the visit.

Our school patrols remain a focus for us as we want to provide a consistent visible presence during the mornings and afternoons where we can.

We conducted patrols around Gorsymead Grove to provide reassurance to the residents within this location following an incident.

We joined our Streetwatch Group for their patrol walk and were able to discuss any concerns and update them with what we are doing within the area.
